Blessed to Be a Blessing: How God's Grace Rolls Outward

Jul 26, 2026    Pastor Andrew Browder

Drawing from Psalm 67, this sermon challenges believers to understand that God's blessing is never meant to be hoarded but to flow outward through them to the world. The pastor grounds this call in the character of God himself — gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love — and argues that the greatest blessing God ever gave humanity was the cross of Jesus Christ. From that foundation, believers are compelled to live open-handed lives that make God known in word and deed, beginning in their immediate communities and extending to the nations. The sermon calls the church away from the inward pull of American culture and toward a life of intentional mission rooted in proximity, relationship, and the visible fruit of a life transformed by God.
