Andrew Browder is a church planter and pastor at Redemption City Church in Elizabeth City, NC. Originally from Edenton, NC, Andrew and his family moved to Elizbeth City to plant Redemption City Church in May of 2022.
Prior to planting Redemption City Church, Andrew was a founding member of the Bridge Church, located in Cullowhee, NC. He was part of the original church plant team and has served in a variety of positions throughout the ministry. During his time in Cullowhee, Andrew also worked in the athletics department of Western Carolina University (WCU). He worked closely with the Men's and Women's Cross Country, Track and Field teams as well as with Football. During his time at WCU, Andrew oversaw the development of the mental healthcare program for the athletic department as well as being responsible for the daily healthcare needs of his assigned teams. In August of 2020, Andrew stepped away from his career as an athletic trainer to pursue a calling to fulltime ministry and training to be a church planter.
Andrew is married to his beautiful wife, Morgan Browder, and they have a happy, energetic 8-month-old son, Ashby. Andrew holds a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and Master's degree in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Church Planting from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In his free time, Andrew enjoys being outdoors, participating in any sport, photography, and being with his family.
